FAIRtracks allows you to locate songs by specific searches or by browsing through the music genres. You may listen to samples and download songs after completing the registration and purchase process.

FAIRtracks.de offers exclusively digital music files to you, which you may download from FAIRtracks.de servers to your PC.

For a music track with a length of 5 minutes you would need the following amount of time for the download:

via modem (max. 56 kbit/s) approx. 11 min. 25 sec.
via ISDN (max. 64 kbit/s) approx. 10 min.
via ISDN with 2 channels (max. 128 kbit/s) approx. 5 min.
via DSL 1000 (max. 1024 kbit/s) approx. 40 sec.
via DSL 2000 (max. 2048 kbit/s) approx. 19 sec.
via DSL 3000 (max. 3072 kbit/s) approx. 10 sec.

FAIRtracks.de is a service of the venture music GmbH. License aggreements with associated artists and labels enable us to give you a license along with each music file. Because of this your downloads are legal and safe.

The start page of FAIRtracks.de provides all navigation elements required to locate a certain music track, to learn details about it, to purchase the track, and to download it, finally. In the navigation area on the right-hand side you may select genres. A mouse click leads you to an overview page of the selected sub-genre.

The search field located in the upper navigation bar on the right-hand side leads you to your desired track, album, or artist instantly. Just enter a search phrase and click on the button with the arrow in order to start the search process.

As soon as you register your user details are stored for future purchases. The information you entered will be tansmitted to our server through a secure SSL connection (Privacy Policy).

By clicking on "Registration" on the start page, you are immediately directed to the registration form which allows you to enter your personal information. Please complete the registration form including the desired user name and password!
Once you agreed with our "General Terms and Conditions" you may select "Next" in order to the page for your "Payment Details". Please select one of the payment methods (pls. see Payment Method) which will be available for future purchases, as well. You may change your payment method at any time. If your registration at FAIRtracks.de was successful, you will receive an e-mail with a confirmation in your personal mailbox.

In case you are already registered at FAIRtracks.de please log in using "Login" on the start page.

In order to shop at FAIRtracks.de, a registration with your personal customer details is required. You may drop the desired tracks into your shopping cart with a click. Through the shopping cart you may look at an overview of all selected tracks belonging to your order. Once you have reached the shopping cart view, you may initiate the order process by clicking on the "Checkout" link at right-hand side of the bottom. After agreeing to the "General Terms and Conditions" and after clicking on the "Checkout" icon you will see a payment form. You may perform the payment by confirming the payment method you already selected. FAIRtracks.de offers you the following payment methods:

• via bank draft
• via credit card
• via Click&Buy

(Firstgate / Click&Buy) In order to use FIRSTGATE® / Click&Buy as a payment method, you need to register on their site. If you are not registered at FIRSTGATE® / Click&Buy, you may perform the registration at this time.

After a successful registration or after the payment with the payment method you selected and the confirmation of our "General Terms and Conditions" you will be forwarded to our download page. There you will find the tracks purchased in your current order. When you click with your mouse button on the download icon and select "Save As", the save dialog will be opened, depending on the manner of your operating system, and you may save the track on your computer.

The icons help you to invoke the desired funtions of FAIRtracks instantly:

You may listen to every track of FAIRtracks's repertoire free of charge. Just click on this icon and you are on the way.

You may add the tracks you selected to the shopping cart by using this icon. If you selected all the tracks you would like to purchase, just lick on the shopping cart icon in the upper right area, in order to get to the shopping cart where you can edit and complete your order.

Would you like to remove a track you added to the shopping cart? You may do this immediately by a simple click on this icon!

You may find the icon for downloading tracks in your personal "Shopping Cart" area, which you may access through the top-level navigation at the top of the page. This way you may also be forwarded to the payment process. The song may be downloaded by clicking the icon. Depending on the operating system you use a dialog will appear which allows you to select the target directory on your computer where you would like to store the downloaded track(s).

FAIRtracks is designed to be concise and intuitive in the way users handle the site. Specific help functions are available where a deeper understanding of the activities is required.
